The Black Women in Tech Hub (BWTH) is a pioneering platform committed to addressing the current under-presentation of Black Women in the Technology sector and equip them for the growing digital economy
Despite the rapid growth of the digital economy, Black women remain significantly underrepresented in the tech sector. Barriers such as access to resources, racial bias, unequal access to digital education, limited professional networks, limited mentorship and role models have contributed to their systemic exclusion from emerging tech-driven careers.
The Black Women in Tech Hub (BWTH) was created to dismantle these barriers and empower Black women with the tools, resources, mentorship, and networks they need to not only enter the tech field but to thrive in the fast-evolving digital economy, including areas such as AI, data science, and fintech, healthtech and more.
